Introductory assignment to a video art class I joined late in spring 2024

Class Assignment
This home video piano cover of Frederic Mompou’s “Cancion 6” from the movie Cria Cuervos was posted 15 years ago on Youtube*. The cover is a great short length video. I play this to sleep sometimes. I like to explore the theme of time and passion projects because they can’t be replicated. The video has a still, extreme close up shot and visual effects that make the scene appear more like a painting if you pause it. The eerie style reminds me of the movie.
